A Wish
She loves to taste that piece of cake,
Yet sacrifices it for her kid’s sake
At home, when all watch a movie,
She prepares dinner in a hurry
After returning from an outdoor trip,
She too yearns to get some sleep
Inside the four walls of house,
She continuosly works hard
Though there are many desires,
She keeps them in her heart
At times with her family,
She shares her wish indirectly
But they are left unheard,
That’s how her days pass
Life of a homemaker,
Is indeed a toughest task
Support is all that she needs,
Let her wishes embark
